Central Retail has introduced electric cargo trucks (EV TRUCK), marking the true beginning of its journey towards zero emissions
They have initiated the use of 6 electric cargo trucks (EV TRUCK) for transporting goods on 17 routes daily within the Bangkok metropolitan area and nearby provinces. The goal is to reduce the use of fossil fuels, saving approximately 1.27 million Baht per year. This will result in an 8% reduction in transportation expenses and a decrease of over 378 tons of carbon emissions into the atmosphere annually.
Furthermore, Central Retail has plans to expand the sustainable use of clean energy in various aspects, including transportation, raw material management, and the adoption of solar energy to replace the use of fossil fuels.
